Ashburton House in the village of Chorleywood in Hertfordshire provides the very highest standard of bed and breakfast accommodation in England.  5 Star and Gold Award rated by Enjoy England, it really doesn't get any better.

There are three large modern bedrooms, with twin or king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. Extra beds are available for children. There is a flatscreen TV with Freeview in every room along with a complimentary selection of teas and freshly ground coffee as well as bottled water, trouser presses, hairdryers and a good selection of reading material. Free wi-fi is available throughout Ashburton House.  A comfortable lounge is available for visitor and their guests, and through the French doors, a pleasant garden, hosting a variety of local wildlife. Full English or Continental Breakfast is served in our oak- panelled dining room. Dietary requests are accommodated.

As well as being accessible to major South East Motorways (M25, M40 & M1) Ashburton House offers exceptional transport links to the centre of London (25 minutes to Marylebone Railway Station) and major London airports (Heathrow 16 miles, Luton 23 miles). Airport collection can be arranged through preferred local Taxi firms. Ashburton House is a perfect choice for exploring London, being on the London underground Metropolitan line and the Chiltern Railways overland line. You can leave your car on the driveway at Ashburton House while you let the train take the strain - you'll be in central London in 40 minutes.

There are several superb and historic golf courses in the area including Chorleywood Golf Club, one of the oldest in England, The Grove in Watford, Harewood Downs near Amersham and the Harry Colt designed Moor Park with it's magnificent palladiun mansion clubhouse which was used as a British Army HQ in the Second World War. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs on offer in the area and we would be very pleased to recommend some favourites.
