The Club was officially opened in 1932 and has regularly featured in the top 100 golf courses in the UK
Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty within the Chiltern Hills and only 20 miles from central London, Ashridge Golf Club has long been associated with warm hospitality and the very best in golfing traditions. Alex Hay and Sir Henry Cotton are both ex professionals of the club.
The course measures 6,625 yards and with a par of 72 the course has fairly been described as encouraging to the average golfer whilst thought provoking to the good player. The opening of our new clubhouse in March 2003 means that we can provide the very best in modern facilities whilst retaining many of the traditional values of which Ashridge is justly proud. Built on two storeys, the upper floor includes the dining room, two lounges and spike bar with each room offering magnificent panoramic views over the course whilst the covered balcony, extending to three sides of the building, provides the ideal alternative to sit and relax after your golf. The spacious and well equipped changing rooms and a superbly stocked Professional Shop are situated on the ground floor.
Ashridge is an Open Championship Regional Qualifying course.
