Chilterns Cycleway

Introduction

The Chilterns Cycleway is a 170 mile (274 km) circular route in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, linking attractions, market towns and places of interest. The route is on-road, mostly on quiet lanes, and is clearly signposted.

What better way to explore the Chilterns than on two wheels, stopping at historic villages, country pubs, lively market towns, one of the many National Trust properties along the route or simply enjoy the wonderful views.

Many will find it is suitable for a leisurely one-week tour. But there are lots of options for splitting up the route in to shorter sections and exploring a bit at a time. You will find plenty of ideas for day rides and short breaks on the site, offering something for everyone.
