Welcome to the Blue Ball at Asheridge, near Chesham in Bucks.

The Blue Ball is a lovely country pub along a quiet lane near Chesham in Bucks with dining and beautiful en-suite rooms, which are detached from the main pub building. The inside of the pub is up to date, clean and fresh but retains a lovely country pub feel.

Accommodation: The rooms have been created from old brick and flint buildings just next to the pub and have been decorated to a very high standard, offering high quality accommodation at very reasonable prices. The rooms are situated around a lovely courtyard furnished with tables and chairs. The pond is stocked with Coy carp and there is a gently flowing water feature enhancing this lovely tranquil setting. 

Each room has a double bed and en-suite shower room and one has a level-floored wet room. Ancient beams and skylight windows complement the colour co-ordinated furnishings. You even have a choice of colour for your room - purple, green or red. Each room also has a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The quiet location ensures a good nights rest.

Eating at The Blue Ball - there is a varied menu of imaginative snacks, main meals and delicious desserts all at agreeable prices. There is plenty of seating inside and a covered patio area and extensive attractive gardens for al fresco eating and drinking. Please note that we do not serve food on Sunday or Monday evenings.  Dogs on leads are more than welcome in any part of the pub.

Beyond the surrounding gardens are miles of beautiful countryside. This is fantastic walking country and there are a myriad of paths and byways around and near the Blue Ball, including The Ridgeway,  a National Trail and one of Britains oldest 'roads', The Icknield Way Path and The Chiltern Way. Walkers and cyclists are more than welcome, so why not include The Blue Ball on your Chilterns walking or cycling itinery.

The market town of Chesham is only a couple of miles away and the A41 at Berkhamsted and the A413 at Great Missenden, pass within 5 miles. From London, the Metropolitan Line runs to Chesham and Chilterns Railways stop at Great Missenden or Wendover - catch a taxi or maybe cycle or walk! to the Blue Ball for a perfect short break in the Chilterns.
