The Cock Inn, originally named 'The Cock Horse', is a lovely 17th Century country pub overlooking the Chess Valley near Chorleywood in Herts.

Sitting opposite the quaint and very beautiful 12th Century Norman church, the Cock Inn at Sarratt is idylically located overlooking the Chess Valley, within the Chilterns 'area of outstanding natural beauty', on the border between Herts and Bucks. The area is ideal for walkers with a myriad of footpaths, including the Chess Valley Walk, near and around the pub. Dogs are more than welcome in the beer garden and the main bar.

From the 'Inglenook' fireplace to the original Barn Restaurant, the building oozes character and charm. Eat in the cosy bar or more formally in the restaurant or relax with a bar snack or main meal in the beer garden. The garden has a safe children’s play area.

The Cock Inn offers a traditional drinking bar with bar meals & real ales and a spacious Barn Restaurant for formal dining, where we can cater for functions & parties. The large beer garden with it's childrens play area offers a safe environment for families to relax and enjoy the countryside. Children can also make use of the 'Bouncy Castle' - available on sunny summer weekends.
