Welcome to The Nags Head at Great Missenden.
The Nags Head in Great Missenden, is a traditional 15th century pub and inn situated alongside the River Misbourne in the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire. The newly refurbished Nags Head has kept all of its original features, including a large inglenook fireplace and old oak beams, and there's a new bar, a new kitchen and stylish new furnishings throughout. The Michaels family, owners of the award-winning Bricklayers Arms in Flaunden in nearby Hertfordshire, invite you to The Nags Head to experience their New English and French fusion menu that has won them so much recognition. The kitchen is run by executive head chef, Claude Paillet, who in the past three years has twice been named the top pub chef in the country by The Publican magazine. Award-winning Alan Bell (chef at The Bricklayers Arms for the past three years) heads the team as Head Chef at The Nags Head. Dining guests will receive a warm welcome by Adam Michaels and his waiting team. Corporate Dining. We are able to cater for a small intimate party of 8 or a corporate dining event of up to 80.
