Pub details:
Welcome to The Old Queens Head, Penn.
Sitting right on the border between the lovely villages of Penn and Tylers Green near High Wycombe in South Bucks, The Old Queens Head exudes bags of character and atmosphere. The gorgeous Dining Room, which was originally a barn, dates from 1666, the same year as the Great Fire of London, with several later additions. There are lots of cosy corners, real fires and more changes in floor level than you can poke a stick at. There are great walks nearby in Common and Penn Woods, both of which are ancient beech woodlands that have changed little over the centuries.
Inside there is a world of choice. This is first and foremost a great pub, but with the space and flexibility to offer everything from a swift beer on the way home, a light bite when you can't be bothered to cook, to a fabulous dinner; special occasion or not. The food, which balances classic dishes with Modern British flair, results in a menu with something for all. We work hard at finding local suppliers and every dish starts with the very best fresh produce we can find.
We've now have free WiFi for those business lunches that never seem to end!
