The Olde Bell Hurley for pubs and inns with dining and accommodation in Berkshire.
The coaching inn, updated, providing eating, drinking and lodgings. The Olde Bell is not an hotel where the rooms dominate, but where the common spaces are the heartbeat of the place.
Parts of the building data back to 1135, with nooks and crannies and crooked floors. For the warmer months, enjoy local ales and eats from our summer kitchen in our meadow garden, or in the winter, make yourself at home inside by our open fires. The Olde Bell has excellent transport links being only an hour from central London, 20 minutes from Heathrow and 10 minutes from the M4. The River Thames is 500 metres away with walking and cycling paths, and there are several top quality golf courses nearby. Legoland is a 20 minute drive away. Wifi is provided throughout.
Lodgings At the Inn, we provide simple creature comforts: decent mattresses, pure cotton sheets, with extra Jakob’s wool blankets to make you feel at home. Room sizes range from bolthole to more spacious with clawfoot baths in the bedroom, in addition to the shower room.
Eating Eating and drinking is central to the Inn. The kitchen is in the charge of the celebrated Rosie Sykes, providing locally sourced food, served simply.
Drinking Olde Bell visitors can enjoy home roasted spiced nuts or cheese straws at the bar with a pint of the local Rebellion ale from the Marlow Brewery or maybe a glass of Luscombe’s organic ginger beer.
Meetings and Events There are six spacious meeting rooms. We can accommodate smaller groups, medium gatherings and breakout room options, as well as larger parties up to 150 delegates, theatre style. Also, presentations, conferences and team-building exercises.
Weddings and Celebrations The Olde Bell is a wonderful setting for an English country wedding.
