The Queen's Head is a great local pub, recommended in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2009 and winners of the Fullers Country/Village Pub Of The Year 2008. The Queen's Head has an excellent selection of real ales and a superb authentic Thai restaurant. In additon, bar snacks are available at lunchtime every day. There is a very pretty garden, the winner of many awards, that can be enjoyed during the warmer months. Sport is big here too and the atomsphere is great. Topped with a warm welcome and friendly service, this wonderful pub offers a winning combination all round.
The Queen's Head is close to the Chilterns countryside so handy for walkers - and we welcome dogs (and their owners!) in the public bar. How about this for a great, energetic day out in the Chilterns: catch the train to Great Missenden, courtesy of Chiltern Railways, then walk through beautiful Chilterns countryside (about 4.5 miles) to the Queen's Head, have a drink and some lunch and back again! Perfect!
