The Red Lion at Little Missenden is a little country pub in an idyllic setting in the Chilterns between Amersham and Wendover in Bucks. The River Misbourne, replete with rainbow trout, runs through its delightful, flower filled garden complete with bridge, ducks and geese, making this a lovely place to while away some time eating and drinking.
This is fantastic walking country and there are a myriad of paths and byways around and near the Red Lion including the South Bucks Way. There is a varied menu of imaginative snacks, main meals and delicious desserts all at agreeable prices. The town of Great Missenden is just a couple of miles away, home to the Roald Dahl Museum.
