Full Description: Chenies village is midway between Chorleywood and Little Chalfont, off the A404 - 2 miles from J18 of the M25.

This historic and enchanting Tudor Manor House is set in the charming estate village of Chenies in Buckinghamshire overlooking the Chess valley.

The architectural historian Nickolaus Pevsner described the manor house as:

"Beautifully mellow under the trees by the church, and archaeologically a fascinating puzzle"

The 23 individual cut brick chimneys distinguish the manor house and are echoed throughout the estate village.

From the picturesque village green a private gravel drive leads invitingly up to the Manor House. Immediately outside the gates is the church of St. Michael, together with the private Bedford Chapel. The front gates open into the Inner Court, leading to the house and gardens. Guided tours of the house are available.

At Chenies Manor we offer
• Refreshments for your visit: we serve delicious home made teas and cakes.

• A Gift Shop where you can buy guidebooks, mementos, and local produce.

• Plants for sale when the house is open.

• Art Exhibitions throughout the Summer.
