Full Description: Situated on the northern edge of the Chiltern escarpment, Wendover Woods affords spectacular views across the Aylesbury Vale. Within 325 hectares of mixed coniferous and broadleaved woodland you will find plenty to see and do. Either spend an energetic day orienteering or cycling or taking on the Fitness Trail. Take it easy and stroll along miles of all ability trails to reach the Chiltern's highest point and relax with a picnic.

New to Wendover Woods : the 'Café in the Woods' is open daily from 9.30am to 16.30pm serving freshly prepared hot and cold meals, hot and cold drinks, handmade cakes, sweets, biscuits and ice-creams in the beautiful surrounds of the woods. The café is near the main car park in the heart of the woods.

Directions: Leave the B4009 north east of Wendover after Halton on the St Leonards road. The entrance to Wendover Woods is on the right as you climb the hill - just follow the road up the hill.
